Sweet boy, we completely missed posting when you turned 10 months old. To be fair, I was traveling with you and your brother up to Washington without your Daddy. Needless to say, free time activities like blogging just didn't happen.
Over these last two months, you have become a speed demon at crawling. You have a normal pace and also a super speed pace that you turn on when you see an opportunity to be naughty, like escaping out the front door when it is opened. Your absolute worst and naughtiest thing is crawling into the bathroom and getting into the toilet with your hands. Oh have mercy, Cade. This week alone it has happened FIVE times! F.I.V.E Your big brother, Jack is needing quick access to the bathroom as he is learning to potty train so we can't use any of those fancy toilet childproof locking gadgets and I fear that putting up a baby gate might deter Jack from making it to the toilet in time. By the end of this week, Jack had gotten really good at remembering to shut the door to the bathroom so here's hoping we can all work together to help you kick this disgusting habit.
While we were in Washington, you fell in love with talking to Daddy on Facetime. You recognize the sound of the ringtone and every time you say with a big smile on your face, "Dada!" You are a big, big fan of your Daddy. You cry when he leaves in the morning and nearly explode with excitement when he gets home in the evening. It is so sweet to watch your relationship with him be one that is so special.
Cade you are still wearing size 12 month clothes. We own so few outfits that I must admit to being pretty sick of seeing the same clothes over and over again. You don't seem to be in any sort of hurry to grow so I think I need to work on having patience. Speaking of growing, Cade, you still don't have a single tooth. As far as nursing goes, having no teeth is just wonderful. :) But, we are getting awfully tired of the same old mushy foods and are ready to get a few chompers in there so you can join us in exploring new foods. I have a feeling you might just get all of your teeth at the same time. Oh boy, won't that be exciting.
