Grammy's Prayer

Yesterday, September 11th, marked one month that Jack has been in this world and it also marked 10 years since the attack on the World Trade Center. But did you know that yesterday was also Grandparent's Day?

In honor of Jack's Grammy, my mom, I wanted to post a prayer that she wrote for me to be read at my baby shower last May. My mom is such an amazing, godly woman and I am blessed to have her as a wonderful example of a mother and also as a friend. Enjoy her prayer...

My Dearest Cami Lamb,
May God grant you many moments in life with your son to treasure up and ponder in your heart. May your experiences with your son help you to understand your God better. May God grant your son a tender heart that seeks to know and love his God and Savior. May your love for your new baby grow greater day-by-day until you glimpse the hugeness of God's lavish love for you. May God give you the special gift of guarding your tongue when you talk to you son. May God grant you the miraculous ability to think about what you are going to say to him before you say it. And when your little one has out-smarted you yet again, may God give you the wisdom to always figure out what your next move will be. In the name of Christ I pray these things. Amen
