Greetings from Uncle Dave and Aunt Cami!!! We are newly uncle and aunted by our beautiful new niece, Adalie Nicole Miller. She was born at 10:26 am on Monday, June 16, 2008. The whole Miller Family is home as of yesterday and doing splendidly.
We all think that she looks almost entirely like the Miller side and has inherited her Daddy's nose. :) Although, she was pretty smashed in there and newborn faces tend to change a bit in the first several weeks, so we'll see.
My mom was able to be there when she was born and has been eating up every second with the baby. For those of you that know my mom, she has been waiting to be a grammy since we kids were much younger, before we even had significant others. She is in heaven holding Adalie.
Today I am hopefully finishing up at school (daunting!!!) and the spending the weekend getting our place completely packed. On Monday I check out with my principal in the morning and then we'll be loading the truck and heading to the east side of the state. After a day unloading, it is off to Eugene to meet our niece. One week later, we'll be on a plane to Rome....whew....the adventure begins.
